Teaching

Our teaching emphasizes learning by doing: students run simulations, analyse trajectories, connect molecular behaviour to statistical mechanics, and use computational models to answer physical and chemical questions.

KE824 — Biomolecular Simulations

An MSc-level course centred on molecular simulation. The course combines lectures with extensive computational exercises; students learn the foundations of statistical mechanics and molecular dynamics and gain practical experience running and analysing simulations.

KE508 — Physical Chemistry B

A bachelor-level physical chemistry course combining theoretical concepts, problem solving and laboratory work, including computational components.

Protein structure, dynamics and modelling

The group also contributes to teaching on protein structure, dynamics and computational modelling, including project-based computational work.

Student projects and supervision

Bachelor, Master’s and PhD projects are offered in computational biophysics, membrane proteins, molecular simulation, nanoplastics, molecular design and related topics. Current project opportunities can be discussed directly with the group.
